Kids@Kings Dance Instructor and Receptionist
Alice was born and grew up in Guernsey where she always had a love for sport, fitness and dance. She competed in the Dancefloor Challenge for 2 years as a “professional” before moving to London at 18 to study a BA Honours in Dance at the University of Roehampton. After achieving a First Class Honours, she was accepted to the Royal Academy of Dance in Battersea, London where she studied a PGCE in Dance Teaching.
She then spent 2 and a half years teaching Dance and Drama in a private secondary school in London, before deciding to have a career change and begin studying for her Personal Training qualification. She is now a fully qualified fitness instructor and nearing the completion of her Level 3 in Personal Training.
Alice loves the fact that Kings is an inclusive place where everyone can feel comfortable, supported and motivated to try something new in an aim to better their health and wellbeing. It’s not just a gym.
To keep motivated Alice likes to have clear goals and at the moment one of her biggest achievements so far is competing in (and winning) her first bodybuilding bikini competition. She says the lengthy preparation has given her a depth of knowledge about fitness, nutrition and wellbeing which she hopes will be useful for her own clients in future.
She loves the team she works with and says they are incredibly supportive, constantly motivating and are always full of energy and positivity. She says the facilities at Kings are fantastic and The Trip is an incredible experience!
Outside of work (and when not in prep for competition) she enjoys eating out with her friends and family, island hopping, going for drinks with her partner and shopping.
