Layla-Marie Bruce

Receptionist

Layla has been a member of Kings since 2014.  She loves working on Reception and enjoys welcoming the regular familiar faces and guests to the Club. 

She is familiar to many members as she used to work in our Clubroom, having run a French café prior to the birth of her son, Jack.  She has a passion for food and loves learning about and cooking healthy food and creating new and exciting meals.

She says Kings is like her second home and has a real family feel about it, among both staff and members alike.  She loves all of the classes, especially The Trip!  She also enjoys running as it helps her to forget about daily life and recently she ran a full half marathon on her own without any additional training, just to see if she could do it!  (She did - in quite an impressive time too!)

Outside of work, Layla spends much of her free time with her son Jack and Fiance, Richie.  They enjoy the outdoor spaces which Guernsey has to offer and love being active as a family.
